The impact specimen notch broaching machine is currently a tool in China that can produce qualified Charpy impact specimen notches, except for optical curve grinders. Due to the principle of one-time forming processing, the notches produced have excellent consistency.

The CSL-Y-5 American standard impact specimen notch broaching machine adopts hydraulic transmission, ensuring the stability of the broach operation and the geometric accuracy of the notch. This product is equipped with a dual station broach, which can simultaneously process two sample notches. Equipped with different specifications of broach, it can draw impact notches of different specifications such as V2, U2, U3, U5, etc. The notch accuracy and specifications meet the requirements of national and American standards. But whether processing V-shaped or U-shaped notches, there is no need to change the tool, and the sample notch can be processed in just 8 seconds at a time, making the operation simple and reliable.

The CSL-Y-5 impact specimen notch broaching machine is made of W18Cr4V material, which has high hardness and good wear resistance. Each tool can process more than 20000 specimens. This machine has a unique lubrication device to prevent damage to the broach, and is equipped with an internal garbage bin for easy cleaning of iron filings.

This machine meets the requirements of GB 2106-80 "Metallic Charpy (V-notch) Impact Test Method" and GB/T 229 "Metallic Charpy Notch Impact Test Method". If the structural form is changed and related parts are replaced, it can also meet the requirements of international standards such as ASTM E23, EN 10045, ISO 148, ISO 83, etc.
